Bridge House Trust Project

Supported by The Bridge House Trust, 4Children has produced a toolkit for out of school playworkers.

The toolkit is designed to furnish them with the requisite information, tools and enthusiasm to be able to increase levels of children’s participation within their out of school club, thereby bringing benefits to the children, the club and the wider community.

In conjunction with the distribution of the toolkit, 4Children ran training workshops for playworkers to equip them with the skills and confidence to apply the principles of children’s participation within their setting.

West Sussex Children’s Fund Participation

4Children worked in partnership with the West Sussex Children’s Fund Partnership to enable the young people of West Sussex and their families to have their voices heard.

Through innovative, interactive and enjoyable consultation methods, the team promoted active involvement in the planning, delivery, monitoring and review of the overall West Sussex Children’s Fund programme, including individual projects and other preventative services and iniatives.

The programme culminated in the production of a participation tool kit Get Involved! which you can purchase or download for free as a 4Children Member.
